ACE PORTAL MODERNIZATION

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sent out CSMS #50417689 on December 17, 2021 to alert the trade of their plans to deploy Phase 1 of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Portal Modernization enhancements.
Beginning January 22, 2022, Phase 1 will include a new log-in screen, home page, and upgraded account user interface for viewing all account data and edit features for some basic information. All other ACE portal functionality will remain in the legacy ACE portal until future deployments are completed. Once all functionality has been transitioned through various phases, the legacy portal will be decommissioned. Throughout the transition however, CBP will continuously synchronize data between both versions. Users will still have access to the legacy ACE portal through a link in the new portal. Future Phases
Once Phase 1 has been successfully deployed, CBP will continue with the transition by implementing additional functionality into the new ACE portal until all the legacy ACE portal features are available in the upgraded version which is planned for January 2023. Additional features include:
