ADDITIONAL PRODUCT EXCLUSIONS FOR SECTION 301 LIST 1 TARIFFS

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) granted additional exclusions on February 11, 2020 to Section 301 List 1 duties levied on goods from China as follows:

​8413.70.2004	Centrifugal pumps, submersible, designed for use in artificial lift system for extracting oil and gas (described in statistical reporting number 8413.70.2004)-US note 20(x) to subchapter III of chapter 99 (94)
8413.91.9050 (prior to January 1, 2019); ​8413.91.9060 (effective January 1, 2019)	​Pistons and housing for hydraulic fluid power pumps of the type used in power lawn mowers -US note 20(x) to subchapter III of chapter 99 (95)
8417.90.0000	Furnace roll end-shafts of steel -US note 20(x) to subchapter III of chapter 99 (96)
8501.52.4000	Multi-phase AC motors of an output of at least 5.8 kW but not exceeding 14.92 kW, each assembled with planetary gears and a gearbox -US note 20(x) to subchapter III of chapter 99 (97)

These exclusions will apply retroactively from July 6, 2018 through October 2, 2020.

In addition to the added exclusions, Subparagraphs B(1-26) clarify periodic revisions in U.S. notes and subparagraphs B(27-29) correct typographical or other ministerial errors to U.S. notes. For more details, click the following link to the Federal Register notice.
