CUSTOMS TRADE PARTNERSHIP AGAINST TERRORISM (CTPAT)
Although FHK acts solely as a Customshouse broker and does not provide logistics or warehousing services, as a CTPAT certified company we remind our business partners when feasible that all loaded U.S.-bound containers and trailers must have a high-security seal or a qualifying cable or bolt seal affixed. This outreach is to inform our business partners of conveyance integrity procedures that must be maintained to protect against the introduction of unauthorized personnel and material into the United States due to cargo that has been compromised. When transporting a container or trailer bound for the U.S. for a CTPAT importer, a high security seal that meets or exceeds the current PAS ISO 17712 standards for high security seals must be utilized.
