CBP Ends IEEPA Duty Collections at 12:00 a.m. on Feb. 24th
Effective 12:00 a.m. ET on February 24, 2026, duties imposed pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) under the presidential actions listed below—including all modifications and amendments—will no longer be in effect and will no longer be collected on goods entered for consumption or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after that time:
CBP clarified that this change applies solely to IEEPA‑based duties:
“This EO affects IEEPA duties only and does not affect any other duties, including duties imposed under section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, as amended, and section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended.”
