USTR EXTENDS SECTION 301 TARIFF EXCLUSIONS FOR CERTAIN

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has announced that it will extend Section 301 tariff exclusions that were set to expire on March 31, 2021 for certain imports from China through Sept. 30 to support the country’s ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19.
The USTR’s decision to extend the 99 product exclusions takes into account public comments previously provided and the exclusions are available for any product that meets the description in the product exclusion. USTR may continue to consider further extensions and/or other additional modifications as appropriate. Click here to read the entire notice.
