USTR Announces Additional Product Exclusions for Section 301 List 4a Tariffs
More exclusions on List 4a of Section 301 goods from China were announced by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
There are five HTS subheadings completely excluded from List 4a tariffs, and 7 partially excluded subheadings. These exclusions will be retroactive to September 1, 2019 and remain in place until September 1, 2020.
It is important to remember that these exclusions are available to all importers who have an eligible product, regardless of whether the importer filed an exclusion request. The USTR continues to review pending exclusion requests and periodically release their decisions.
