USTR ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL PRODUCT EXCLUSIONS FOR SECTION 301 LIST 3 TARIFFS
More exclusions on List 3 of Section 301 goods from China were announced by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) on May 22, 2020.
There are seventeen HTS subheadings completely excluded from List 3 goods from China, and sixty-one partially excluded subheadings. These exclusions will be retroactive to September 24, 2018 and will remain in place until August 7, 2020.
It is important to remember that these exclusions are available to all importers who have an eligible product, regardless of whether the importer filed an exclusion request. The USTR continues to review pending exclusion requests and periodically release their decisions.
