ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) ISSUES NEW FORM 3540-1
​NOTICE OF ARRIVAL (NOA) OF PESTICIDES AND DEVICES

This new form is effective immediately. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued CSMS#52176791 today to notify the trade of the new EPA form that has been approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). There are no new data elements on the form, the intent was to provide clarity for some data elements and to the instruction section. EPA will continue to receive submissions of the previous form through Friday, June 17, 2022. After that date, the previous form will be obsolete, and the EPA Import Specialist will return the outdated form to the importer or their authorized agent.
 
If an EPA NOA is filed electronically through ACE (PGA Message Set), this paper EPA Form 3540-1 NOA form does not apply.
