NOTICE OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE MERCHANDISE PROCESSING FEE
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2024

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for fiscal year 2025 will adjust and increase various user fees, including the Merchandise Processing fee (MPF) as follows:
Minimum - $32.71 up from $31.67
Maximum - $634.62 up from $614.35
Informal - $2.62 up from $2.53
The rate of 0.3464% remains unchanged.
The Federal Register notice, published Monday, July 22, 2024 states that the adjusted amounts of customs COBRA user fees and their corresponding limitations set forth in this notice for Fiscal Year 2025 are required as of October 1, 2024.
