ACE Portal Update – Electronic Refund Enrollment Begins September 30, 2025

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will deploy updates to the ACE Secure Data Portal on September 30, 2025, enabling trade users to enroll for electronic refund transactions in compliance with Executive Order 14247.

Key Updates:
- Authorized users can now submit U.S. bank account information via the ACE Portal.
- This enhancement supports Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments for CBP-issued refunds.
- Note: CBP is not transitioning to electronic-only refunds at this time. This update is a preparatory step toward that future transition, which will be announced separately.
