PRESIDENT SIGNS LEGISLATION PREVENTING RAILROAD STRIKE
President Biden signed legislation ordering unions to implement a labor contract that was mediated between union representatives and rail companies back in September, averting a major disruption prior to the busy holiday season.
The U.S. Senate voted 80-15 on Thursday in favor of the bill that the President signed Friday, after the House of Representatives approved it Wednesday by a vote of 290-137.
