Your vehicle must be importing from Canada for us to file the entry with CBP on your behalf.

Documents Needed:
  • Bill of Lading (if applicable)
  • Bill of Sale
  • Foreign Registration
  • Any other documents covering the vehicle
  • EPA form 3520-1 (located on website)
  • NHTSA/DOT form HS-7 (located on website)
  • EPA and FMVSS certification labels permanently affixed

If one or both labels are not present, a Manufacturer’s Certification Letter must be obtained and state the following:
  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) installed and active
  • Meets FMVSS bumper and theft prevention standards
  • No active recalls
  • The vehicle complies with all applicable EPA regulations

If any exceptions are listed on this letter, a manufacturer’s certified mechanic will need to inspect the vehicle and bring it into compliance.

If importing from any country other than Canada, the vehicle owner must contact a registered importer for assistance.
